Lair of the golden bear is a VERY fun camp that my cousin [M] and I go to every year since we were.... well, young.  And a lot of other cousins.  I'll tell you a little about it.       Let me get one thing clear: 'Bear Bucks' is money.  It's money put into a bank at the camp that has a name-- Bear Bucks.  So, when I say Bear Bucks it's just a fancy name for money at the camp.                                  Bear Bucks:Real Money.

There is a 'Candy Shack' that is open during the day.  It had candy, soda, gum, some clothes with the lair logo.  The 'Burger Shack' is open during the night after the Shows.  You get burgers, fries, curly fries, garlic fries, ice cream, hot chocolate, and coffee.  The Shows are little or big long or short plays or announcements that the staff put on.  Most of them(when I mean most I mean almost every single one) are comedy.  Some are announcements and one play at the end is a long dramatic comedy fake play with animal costumes and stuff like that.  They even have their own songs.  One of them is something about California another about Mountain Dew, and then they make a couple new ones each year.

The Dinning Hall is the place where people eat three times a day -- breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  Like the kitchen, but you don't cook AT ALL!!!! Yay fun, well l think it is.   The lounge is the Burger Shack in the morning and after noon--always open.
Disco Wednesday is when people go to the dinning hall waaayyy after dinner and play bingo, but before bingo is played people are dressed in 60's or 70's clothes and everybody who isn't in the contest cheers [or yells] the loudest for their favorite outfit.

There are age groups.  With every age group there are two counselors/leaders(who work at thew camp.  The age groups are: 6-7, 8-9, pre teens, and teens.  6-7's do cute little paintings and jewelry making.  The 6-7's do an animal face painting parade with around the Dinning Hall.  8-9's can walk together(with counselor/ leader) to the local beach, and picnic.  The bad thing is that you cannot go
in the water.  They can see a movie at the local outside movie theater.  What do l mean by outside movie theater?  Outside.  But the movies have to be G or PG.  The pre-teens can walk to the local beach(with
counselor/leader) to the beach and go paddle boating
in the water.  They can see G, PG, or PG-13 movies.  The teens paint ball wars at midnight.  And, since I'm not in that group, I don't know much more.  By the way those activities are just the few l remember.  Lots of people go so the children do make friends and could email each other or call each other.

Adults can make friends with other Adults.  They can tie-die(everyone can if older the 9 without an Adult), go to the lounge for internet connection [if you brought your laptop].  And massages, baseball/softball, hiking, and other secret Adult things they won't say.  An adult is 18-19 and older. A teen in 13-17.

                                                I go to week 9.
FUN!
